OREGON COAST LOVERS
we rode with david + elaine to the coast, a 2 hour road trip just catching up on life + adventures since we shot their wedding nearly 2 years earlier .
it's funny how we get to hang out with couples on the best day of their lives - their wedding day - and then a lot of times don't see them again for some time . it's pretty typical i have withdraws and miss them! so i absolutely love shooting anniversary sessions of my couples . it's a time to hang out in a less stressful environment and create photos that speak to the love that's grown even since their wedding day .
& especially with these two . we grabbed a bottle of champagne and a big bag of doritos and set out on foot along the coast of Cape Kiwanda . it was crazy windy, and the temperature had dropped a lot since we had left Portland .
so we just ran around, exploring & wrestling in the sand, laughing through teeth chattering cold, and taking in the overwhelmingly epic views . there's nothing quite like the northwest coast or the love these two share .
